Examples to share your link
Out of experience, most affiliates write a blog post on their website. Of course, this is not mandatory, and you can become very creative with your personal link. To give you some ideas, we have listed some examples below 🙂
Writing an article
You can write a blogpost article dedicated to Buttonizer on your site, or by comparing us to our competitors.
In this article you can tell your users how you are using Buttonizer yourself or about the features that are available at the moment. What do you like about Buttonizer? Do you have some pet peeves?
If you like sharing your experience more, you could also write how-to's (tutorials).
Sharing a post on social media
There's Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and YouTube. If you are a content creator, you can get really creative.
You could also show your skills by making a video. You can make a tutorial by screensharing your button making process or you can show what's possible. If you've made something cool, share it on our community and maybe we can share it to our users as well! 🙂
In a video, you can share your link in the video description.
A partner page
Some sites have a partner page with logos of software they use. You can add the Buttonizer logo on this page and link it to your affiliate link.
If you don't have an affiliate page, but you want to add a link a little more hidden, you can decide to add your affiliate link to the footer of your website.
Sharing link with clients
Are you acting on behalve of an agency? Then your clients can create their own accounts on Buttonizers platform. You can share the link via your website or by sending an email ( Don't try to spell it over the phone though, that's no fun... ).
Be aware that if your customer already created an account in the past and then clicked on your affiliate link, the referral might not count, and no commission will be earned.
What NOT to do - Affiliate rules
There are some limitations sharing your affiliate link, we have listed them below:
- Do not share your link in a public discussion on the Buttonizer Community
- Do not share your link on the WordPress Repository or Shopify App store in any way (review or topic)
- Do not use your own link to upgrade sites
If we discover any violating of our rules, we reserve the right to permanently terminate your affiliate account and refuse any referrals.
Missing upgrades in your account?
Are you in the situation that you know someone has upgraded, but it was not counted? Let us know, then we can take a look at your situation.
In the following situations an upgrade might not be counted:
- The user already had an account before clicking your link
- The user has clicked a link from another affiliate
- The user clicked the link, but used a different device or browser to create an account
