What's a group?
In Buttonizer 2.0 there is the possibility to create both groups of buttons and seperate buttons. A button group can only contain two or more buttons. When the user clicks on a button group, it will open and show a menu of all the buttons that are contained within.
I just want a single button!
If you don't want a menu that opens, you can just add a button outside of a group. Because this button is in the upper layer of the structure, it can also be converted to a group. This will create a group and place the button inside of it.
How do I add buttons outside and/or inside of groups?
If you take a look at the settings menu you will see, at the bottom, two buttons. Add group + and Add button + .
- Add group will create a group with two buttons inside of it.
- Add button will create a button outside of a group.
If you want to add a button inside of a group, you have to open that group and then click on one of the two Add button +. This will create a new button inside that group.
Can I place a button that's outside of a group in a group?
It's possible to convert a button, that's outside a group, into a group. This option is available in its quick menu. This will create a group, place the button inside it, and then create an extra button inside that group. (remember, a group can only contain two buttons or more!)
Can I place a button that's inside of a group, outside of a group?
When you have a group with multiple buttons inside, and you delete all but one of those buttons, the last button will jump out of the group.
