Buttons are not displayed - due to security token/Wordpress update?

My buttons no longer appear on my site. They only appear when working on the site on Wordpress. Is it possible that the last update is the reason of this?

Thanks for reaching out again! Hope you're doing fine! I'm glad you're still enjoying Buttonizer 😃

If you see Buttonizer when logged in, but don't see it in incognito/other devices, then it's possible that you have a caching plugin.

If that's the case, try to clear the cache of your site, then Buttonizer should become visible for non-admins as well.

Hi Jasper, thanks a lot for your reply. Currently I am not enjoying Buttonizer, I am afraid ;-) I think I cleared the cache but nothing changed. I am not sure you can log in to my account. There seems to have been no activity for a while. I have activated the cache program however only few days ago (maybe 3 days ago?). So probably there is another reason?

Understandable! But we'll make sure it works again 🙂

After a quick investigation, I think I found the cause of the issue.

Your caching plugin is currently caching our embed code when not logged in, which is causing an error and Buttonizer does not load. This issue is fixed in a later update, I see that you have an older version installed and our pro version which is no longer required.

What you can do is the following

Uninstall Buttonizer Premium plugin from your site
Install Buttonizer via the public WordPress repository and make sure you have version 3.4.0 installed
Connect your site once again with your account
Clear the cache of your site

Now Buttonizer should be visible on your site again 🚀

There seems to have been no activity for a while

This is actually a new feature after migrating to our standalone from our old WordPress only version, we have added integrated analytics. Since you recently migrated, it doesn't have any information from your previous period.

Ok, now I am enjoying Buttonizer a bit more: Buttons have reappeared.
However, all my visibility rules are no longer being applied. I see, they still are in the system but show no effect. Do I have to reinstall them or is there an easier way to do so?

Yay! Glad Buttonizer is visible again. I checked your account and noticed that the page rules were set to Path but had the full domain as well (it will only check for everything after the slash /).

I removed the domain from the page rules and published the changes, now it seems like Buttonizer is showing correctly again on all pages.

Can you confirm that the issue has been resolved?
