tel:// URL's blocked for security reasons

I have buttons using tel:// followed by a phone number. So users can call us by pressing a button.
These buttons don't work anymore and within the console I found this error message:

Buttonizer: Sorry, we have blocked your URL 'tel://00******' for security reasons.

How can I prevent this from happening and what should this 'security reason' be?

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The Website URL button action is meant only for URL's.
You could instead use the "Call action (phone number)" button action instead.

This button action will use tel:// to open up the phone app correctly. 🙂
