NO Staging to Production Capability

My Stagin site uses Buttonizer ... lts of BUTTONIZER !

But the is NO WAY to get it to the Production site without manually writing down and re-entering.

This is going to take hours of re-Entry and testing !

Not to mention the Fact that each time I update the staging site and SYNC the changes I'm going to have to do it ALL over again ?

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE !

Thanks for reaching out to us!

It is possible to change your staging Buttonizer instance to your production environment. To do this and keep all settings, open the Buttonizer dashboard, then select your site and go to your site settings. There you can update the domain name:

After changing your domain name, Buttonizer can now be shown on your new domain name. Just to make sure, you can also disconnect the WordPress plugin and then reconnect the plugin.

This way you can migrate a Buttonizer instance from staging to production without losing your settings.

I need to keep both the staging and production sites active at the same time.

If I change the primary domain will the staging site cease working ?

Also regarding your response ... My primary and secondary domain were already set to my production and staging sites respectively.

However after disabling the plugin then syncing the staging to production and enabling the plugin on the production site I still get the same errors.

It appears that the production site is still using the staging site URLs.

Also I tried exporting the groups from the staging site and reimporting them to the production site.\

The JSON file for the export had the staging address.

I tired manually changing that address to the production site.

This also failed to work, and produced the errors previous posted.

We imported the data for you and updated all the staging URL to the production URL. Could you take a look at it and see if everything looks correct?

Also, I took a look at the production site listed on your account and it looks like it is not integrated correctly. It is still using the staging site's integration code.

If you integrated Buttonizer in your production site by manually copy and pasting the integration code, replace the current code with this:

If your production site is using the Buttonizer WordPress plugin, reconnect by going to the Buttonizer plugin's settings -> Disconnect.
Then reconnect and select the correct site.
