Hi, how do I use older version of whatsapp widget? The current widget looks like live chat but ultimately directs to whatsapp chat which seems like an added step and is not offering a very good user experience.

Thanks for reaching out! Hmmm... I think you may be referring to having selected a different button action on some of your sites rather than a version issue. There's multiple different WhatsApp button actions that look slightly different, and it looks like you have different actions selected for different sites.

This site for example is using "WhatsApp widget" for the button action, which pulls up a little window on the same page:

Your Sobha-Hartland site meanwhile is using "WhatsApp chat" for the button action, which will pull up a chat through the actual app (so it will be a new tab/leaving the website to open the actual app). I believe that you want all sites to behave like the above screenshot. In that case, you would want to make sure to change the button action to "WhatsApp widget" instead of "WhatsApp chat" on all of your sites.

Hey Thanks, whatsapp button was hidden , I did not see the scroll bar. Thanks for letting me know.

Is there any button available which offers live chat like UI instead of redirection?

Hello there,

The "Whatsapp Widget" option will bring up a chat rather than a redirect for specifically WhatsApp chats. Were you asking about using another chat app with a Buttonizer button? You can do so, though you would need to have an account with whatever chat service you wanted to create a button for. Then, if that chat provider has a javascript snippet that they provide to pull up their chat by clicking on a custom button, you can use a custom javascript Buttonizer button action as the button that pops up the other chat. There isn't a built in live chat in buttonizer itself though, if that is what you were wondering (you would just be setting up buttons that initiate another separate live chat app).

Note that if you have a Formilla Live Chat account, you can use the Formilla Chat button action. If you are using something else for chat (LiveChat, Talk.to, etc), then you would need to use the custom javascript button action. If you do have a live chat account and you need more help getting a custom javascript button set up, just let me know.
