Another way of doing this is to allow SHORTCODES to be "call to action" triggers. I am running a different Pop-up plug-in that generates SHORTCODES. If there is a way to trigger SHORTCODES, then I can remove the WP Popups plug-in altogether to remove any potential conflicts between plug-ins.
