  • How to get the URL open in same window?

Can you get the URL, witch the button refers to, to open I same window in the free version, NOT open a new tab?

    Id like to let you know that we've just updated the plugin to version 2.2.5 which should fix the issue you were experiencing!

            I use safari on mac - but I even try Chrome - and I can't make any choice on 'Open new tab'
            I use it for this site https://visualgate.dk
            I'm going to use it as a security button, to leave the page, so you should not be able so see the page, after you left it

              Hi wakywaky , thanks for sharing the site URL. I've taken a look at the dataobject of Buttonizer and it seems that there is a new tab defined on true somehow.

              Could you try to toggle the new tab setting twice to 'enable' and then directly 'disable' it? Then publish your changes, this should reset the new tab functionality.

              I think the dashboard somehow doesn't show the correct state. We'll look into that, thank you for noticing.

                I try to double click, but nothing happens - I even try on internet explorer on a PC - its the same - I liker your product, so I really hope it's possible to open in the same window or change the tab I come from? I know its possible try look like this link

                Isn't there any solution? - what have other users done? - can the button/link open in the same window/tab or change the current you leave, security reasons - please get back to me! cause I like your product !!!!

                  Sorry about that!
                  Thanks to you, we found out that the "Open in new tab" setting seems to be bugged.
                  That is why you couldn't switch the option.

                  We have fixed this issue and it will be released in our next update sometime this week.
