Conflict with other plugins

Currently I am trying to install plugin advanced-nocaptcha-recaptcha.6.1.5.zip, but because of Buttonizer, I get error. More importantly, In order to customize anything on my site, or even search or download a plugin, I have to deativate buttonizer, make my changes, search or upload then activate plugins then when I am done I have to re-activate buttonizer and hope it works! When I installed the recaptcha plugin it works perfectly until I have to activate Buttonizer again. I get the following error.

But even if I have to make minor CSS customizations ... I have to deactivate Buttonizeer for the changes to take effect. Once done, they at least have been loading without error. I am now just having issues with this plugin that I require. I have had the same issue with other plugins, but I looked for other plugins that perform the same functionality just to get them to work with buttonizer. However, I need this re-captcha plugin.

Please advise.

One more thing to add ... when I get the HTTP Error 500, to resolve I have to go into CPANEL an remove the recaptcha plugin folder manually inorder to regain control of the WP Dashboard.

I ended up finding another Captcha plugin, that works with buttonizer.

However, the issue where I have to deactivate the buttonizer plugin before I make any changes to the site is still there. Then hope, after changes or new plugins installed, that buttonizer still works.

Thanks for letting us know about this bug.

I installed advanced-nocaptcha-recaptcha.6.1.5.zip on our site and had it and Buttonizer activated but I can't seem to reproduce the error message.

So there might be something else that's causing these issues to happen.

From what I understand, after changing captcha plugins, most of the issue has been resolved but only the deactivating Buttonizer for changed to take effect bug is only remaining?

Could you perhaps let us know which other plugins you currently have on your site?
We would like to test it out and see if we can reproduce this issue. 😁

Sure. See below. WordPress 5.5.3 running Twenty Seventeen theme. Now, I had to downgrade my Wordpress version to get buttonizer to work as well. Hence the Downgrade plugin.

But you are correct, the only issue I have now is I have to deactivate buttonizer to make changes, then re-activate and hope it works.

Hi wsquared ! Thanks for the update. We did see your message but I personally thought the then re-activate and hope it works meant you would reply an update later.

I'll troubleshoot your issue this monday, hopefully I can find out what's going on 🙂

No, I have to deactivate buttonizer before I install any new plugin ... then after the new plugin is installed and configured ... I then have to re-activate buttonizer and Hope that the site still works.
