In this article we'll explain how to import and export buttons. This way you can re-use your best performing buttons accross all your websites easely 😎
Exporting a group or button
Step 1
Press the
button

Step 2
A window will appear which contains more information about what you are about to export. Press the Export
button.

This will download a file that will start with the group name and end with .buttonizer.json

Importing a group or button
If you are using the free version of Buttonizer, you will only be able to import a button to a group. It is also possible to replace your button, please scroll down to Replace a group
.
Step 1: Free version & pro version
In some situations you only have exported only one single button and want to add your fantastic button to a group. In this case you press the
button again and select Import into this group

Step 1: Pro version
If you are using the PRO version, you'll find a Import group
button which you could also use.

Step 2
The following window will appear where you will be able to select a Buttonizer file:

Step 3
After you have uploaded a Buttonizer export file, the window will update and show you the button(s) that will be imported to the group.

TIP: Do not upload a group file, you'll replace the whole group, scroll down to Replacing a group
for more information.
Replacing a group
It is also possible to replace a group. In this case you'll need to follow the steps from Import a group or button
and then upload the group .buttonizer.json
file instead of a button file.
If you have uploaded the correct file, the import window will let you know that You are about to replace this group (....)

That's it, after pressing Import
your group should have been replaced!
