Add custom html within a button

Is it possible to add custom code inside a button. For example I'd like a slide out button that contains a search entry field?

Currently it's not possible to add custom code in Buttonizer.

We do have widgets in the planning as we already had some others requesting a button with a search action. So this might be a cool widget to start with 🙂
