Contact Form Webhooks and Zapier-Back to knowledge base overview
Zapier is a good no code option to use contact form webhooks to back submissions up. Here is an example of how to use Zapier to send contact form submissions to a Google Sheet.
- Setup a Zapier Webhook and use the "Catch Hook" option. Copy the URL and paste it into Buttonizer.
- After publishing in Buttonizer, you can submit a test on your website and it should get detected by Zapier. Notice "request A" and "request B" in this screenshot.
Connect your Google Sheets account
Create a spreadsheet with column headers similar to the attached example
Have Zapier "create a Spreadsheet Row" in an existing sheet.
Zapier will detect your column headers and you can map the proper data to each one as you see in the screenshot. Type "/" and choose from the "Submitted Values" options like you see in the "Message" example.
- Trigger the test and you'll see the submissions appear as in the above spreadsheet screenshot.
