First of all, welcome to the Buttonizer Community 🎉
In Buttonizer we have an option to disable the import of the buttons. You can find the toggle here: Settings -> Icon library -> Import icon library.
As soon the toggle has been turned off, the icons will not be loaded in via Cloudflare's cdnjs.com and will use your own local hosted FontAwesome.
Regarding CDNJS and GDPR
However, we've chosen cdnjs.com for it's worldwide coverage and the GDPR of Cloudflare. There was an issue opened earlier on their CDNJS repository regarding this topic. There is also a little information regarding privacy on this page here.
They claim the following on that page:
What about the privacy of my users?
cdnjs.cloudflare.com is governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to keep your personal information personal and private. We will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Please note that Cloudflare will provide the cdnjs project with anonymized and aggregated usage data regarding cdnjs.cloudflare.com that will be made publicly available, as indicated here.
So my thoughts are they comply with the GDPR and there are no issues using the CDNJS service on your site 🙂
