short code in button URL

I've got a site where short codes inside a URL that links to the enquiry form are currently used so that the gravity form the link takes you to gets some fields prefilled based on which page the user is clicking through from. For example

https://www.example.com/enquire/?tour=[ql_showvalue mod=name]&tourcode=[ql_showvalue mod=code]

Those links work fine when we use them for buttons embedded in pages and posts but they do not appear to work with buttonizer. I.e. it looks like the shortcodes aren't firing and instead the link URL for the buttonizer button remains as is with the shortcodes in it rather than the parameters they are meant to pull in.

Is there any way around this? Or is it just a case of short codes won't ever work in buttonizer buttons?

Hi Jonas , sorry for the late reply!

Right now the buttons do not yet support codes filled inside the URL. This is a feature that we'll want to support in early/middle 2020. We'll make sure this is possible!

There may be a workaround, but therefore you need to use this javascript feature: https://community.buttonizer.pro/knowledgebase/37-execute-javascript-after-buttonizer-is-initialized

Then after initializing you can update the urls of the buttons with the values you need.
