Hi-

Just migrated to 3.0. Desktop browser works fine, but phone doesn't show either of two menus.

What should I check, please?

Thanks.

  • Hey sawbones77 ,

First of all, welcome to the Buttonizer Community! 🥳

Sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing. I'll do my best to help you out.

I've checked your site and see you're using a caching plugin. The caching plugin seems to minify and cache our embed.js file while the file is already minified.

Can you go to your caching plugin settings and add https://cdn.buttonizer.io/embed.js to your Exclude JavaScript files settings? This should prevent the caching plugin to re-minify our script and display the buttons on your site again.

I've also checked your account and saw the site is seen as PRO (so I think you activated it via the dashboard or this was already the case). To activate PRO in the plugin as well, go to the Buttonizer plugin settings and click the Sync with dashboard button. The 'License status' should now change to 'PRO' as well.

Let me know if this fixes the issue and hope to hear from you soon!

More issues:

  1. Neither of two buttons is showing up on iPhone or iPad
  2. Neither of two buttons is showing up on desktop FireFox or Chrome
  3. One button label disappears when the menu is open. That is new.
  4. When the menu is open, hover colors don't work on labels, or cover only part of the label, or add a new color.

I need to revert to the prior version ASAP. How do I do so?

I will migrate later when these bugs are fixed. I don't have time to go chasing this now.

Thank you.

Sorry, on top of that, I keep getting asked for activation. I now have my original website listed as 'Free,' which it is not-I have a paid subscription, and two other websites.

I cannot find how to delete these. I have no idea what is activated and what is not activated, I have no idea why my subscription is not seen...

I need to get rid of this. I have a business to run. I should never have migrated. You should warn people that things will break when migrating, and should be available on support.

I need to get rid of this. I don't have the time to chase down half a dozen new problems.

I need to revert. I hopefully still have my old buttons. Please advise ASAP.

    Thank you for the reply.

I had to enter it in two places, but now the menus are showing up on my mobile and tablet devices, thank you.
