What's the difference between Whatsapp Witget & Whatsapp: f1b33ddd-xxxxxx-426c-b4a1-d340719053ae ??
The f1b33ddd-xxxxxx-426c-b4a1-d340719053ae you see is the ID of a button in that group that we collected a click on. We only store the ID of the button and later try to load the name of it. However, since that button has been deleted, our analytics was unable to get the name from the button.
We're currently working on a way that stores the name of the button ID before someone deletes the button. It currently doesn't look nice when a group or button has been deleted.
Conversion means "whatsapp message received"?
Conversion in our analytics currently means when someone clicked the button (so opened the widget in your case). So I think in your case this is more of a Lead. I think it's a good idea to track the button in the WhatsApp widget as well (that would be a Conversion), currently that's not being done yet. I've noted it so we can work on that later 🙂
Why i see a Group named Whatsapp, and inside of it a Button name called WhatsApp Widget? What's the 4% conversion rate difference coming from?
Good point! I think this missing percentage is due to the button in that group that was removed earlier. However, this can be fixed as soon as we store the name of the button seperately when someone deletes their group/button.
It's good to mention that it would be 'too late' for the button that was already deleted to appear again in the future (as we don't have any data of it stored anymore). But, as it's on our planning, I expect that we'll store the group + button name in the future.
