WhatsApp on Iphone does not work even if you remove the + symbol

Hi, I am trying to get the WhatsApp chat to work for Iphone, as you will see in the images, the + symbol is not added and all the numbering is followed (country code and phone).
But then I enter the code I notice that it includes the + symbol so on iPhone it does not allow to open the WhatsApp saying that I do not have the WhatsApp application installed. Could you tell me how to correct this problem? Thank you very much.

Can you perhaps let me know on what site you're experiencing your issue? When using the WhatsApp Chat action, it should not use the tel: href. Do you perhaps accidently use the Phone action?

I took a look at your buttons and it looks like the WhatsApp button is correctly not adding the + symbol on your number.
The one that you had on your screenshot is the Call button that opens the phone app.

WhatsApp's share page adds the plus symbol themselves to make it work.

You mentioned that you are getting the "Looks like you don't have WhatsApp installed!" message when you try to click on the continue button on the WhatsApp page.

I was able to reproduce this issue on my android phone and the cause of it seems to be because I had the option. "Open links in apps" disabled in my browser settings and once enabling this again, WhatsApp was able to open the app for me.

Could you maybe try another browser and see if it will work and if it doesn't could you maybe let us know which browser are you testing this on?

Thank you very much for your reply. But as I have read in the support threads, I understand that the + symbol should not be added in WhatsApp. The WhatsApp button works correctly on Android mobile, but it does not work with Iphone mobile. In the end it is not clear to me whether I have to add the + symbol or not. On computer there is no problem. The problem comes on mobile.

I have the same issue using my iphone number 0041 and not +41. I've tried on other iphone after the Start Chat button. The issue is persisting "The link couldn't be opened".
Is there any solution? I thank you in advance.
