  • Button not appearing on site (GDPR: Wait on consent)

Dear Community, dear Support Staff,
I'm sorry I know this question has appeared dozens if not hundreds of times, but I have gone through many of the same questions and am unable to fix the problem.

Issue: button is not appearing on site, despite working in the preview.

Troubleshooting I have done so far:
1) refreshed object and CDN cache
2) reconnected my account to the buttonizer plugin on wordpress
3) deleted the plugin and reinstalled it (several times)

I am unable to get further, any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks for reaching out to us and for trying out other solutions!

    It looks like your site currently has the option GDPR: Wait on consent enabled.
    This means that Buttonizer will not load in any scripts until the function enableButtonizer() has been called.

    When you disable this option, your button should load in correctly. 😃
    You can find this option by going to the Buttonizer WordPress plugin dashboard -> Plugin Settings -> Preferences.

    If you would like to keep this option enabled, then you will need to call the function in your cookie consent plugin.
    We have an article in our knowledge base with some examples on how to set this up.
