Popups - WordPress Popups plugin is discontinued

HI.

I just noticed that my WordPress Popups plugin is no longer been maintained and it says to "Please migrate to WP Popups" when i have tried this and then entered the new code into the popup button it doesn't seem to work anymore ?? does anyone have the same problem or know of a solution to this please

Thanks for letting us know about this situation.

We took a look at the new WP Popups plugin. It seems like some of the functions were changed...
I'm happy to let you know that will be able to create a new button action that will support this new plugin. 😁

P.S. If you have the premium version of Buttonizer, you can use the Javascript function as a temporary solution to this issue.

You'll need to get your popup's id. You can find behind the popup's trigger class:

In Buttonizer, use the Javascript function button action and paste this code:
window.wppopups.showPopup("POPUP_ID", true)

Replace POPUP_ID with your popup's id.

And that should be it! 😎

It will be included with our upcoming UX update, Buttonizer version 2.1.

Not sure if its just me , but i cant get the code working at all, it just generates lots of Errors in the Google Console when i check?

I am also on Version 2.1.4 | and its not working with or without the hack you mentioned

Got it sorted, Sorry i had the popup disabled, which was causing the error, but the new version of WP Popups has lost the trigger function now which is why its confusing, i just set it to display after a certain time when enabled and set the time to 2 hours so no ones going to be on the site for that long anyhow.

Since version 2.3.0 we've discontinued the Popups - WordPress Popups feature and implemented WP Popups ( link ) as alternative!

So you stopped Popups support and now WP - Popups, but can you expand on what "WP Plugins" is as I don't have a clue?? can you please list the Pop ups solutions we can intergrate with now with buttonizer plase?

No1Son Whoops, I've typed WP Plugins instead of WP Popups (link to plugin). The names of these plugins are a bit confusing and I should probably take my weekend now to stay focused 😛

By the way, the current Popups - WordPress Popups click actions will stay working in the frontend as they were set up earlier. Only in the dashboard you cannot edit the field and you'll find the following message:

Popups - Wordpress Popups has been discontinued and replaced with WP Popups – WordPress Popup builder.
