First of all, welcome to the Buttonizer Community!
I'm sorry to let you know that we were experiencing some sever issues today. It is possible the site wasn't correctly connected and the connect token was invalidated due to long requests or this was due to our API which was slow at that moment.
I think we're almost there and have fixed the issue. Are you able to try to re-connect the site again? That should give you a new token.

I have tried to disconnect the site in order to try to reconnect it again, but I receive the same error.

I just checked our WordPress code and it should have disconnected you anyways, however, there was a small bug which prevented this. The exception was checking for the error code buttonizer_request_failed
and not buttonizer_api_request_failed
... Sorry about that
We've quickly released an update to patch this bug for you. Are you able update the plugin to the newest version? You should then be able to disconnect in this specific situation
I was able to disconnect and reconnect successfully after updating the plugin. Unfortunately, the button still isn't showing on the site. Should be showing in bottom right corner. It was showing earlier in the week, then we hit our limit of 5,000 on the free plan, then we upgraded to Pro. Any ideas?

I've checked the account and you're right, the backend didn't unlock your site after you had upgraded. I have unlocked that manually for you. Apologies for that! We'll look into why this is so this doesn't happen again in the future.
Are you able to check again? This should solve that problem too
Yes, that did the trick! Button is showing up now and everything seems to be working as expected again.
